Know About Us

ANNA is an innovative Program Implementation Organization created to improve the quality of policy implementation at grassroot level.

In the last 7-8 years, a team of young professionals tested most of its ideas
in different fields and locations in the country and finally established ANNA in 2022.

As a foundation to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and impact of various state and national
policies through Local Self Governance (spearheaded by the 73rd-74th Constitutional amendments).

Taking cue from the Local Self Government of Chola administration, ANNA Foundation comes with a unique idea of forming teams under the able leadership of Mantri Mitra (Ward members/ Parshad). These teams will work as per policy guidelines and monitor progress at regular intervals

Through RIDE (Research, Innovation, Decentralize and Entrepreneurship) approach, ANNA will find high quality and low cost interventions to address gaps in policy implementations, and create a collection of recognised best practices, and document these interventions.

Initially, the focus areas will be Education, Health, Environment, Technology and Finance. With time, the scope will be broadened.

We are building a movement of leaders who will eliminate information asymmetry in policy implementation at grassroot.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make sure all young people and children get all the support they need,
when they need it, no matter what it is.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We want to build a world where no child or youth feels alone and gets every possible help
they need as soon as possible.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
